About StoreSteadyBot

StoreSteadyBot is an automated crawler operated by StoreSteady. We use it to gather public storefront content for AI-visibility analysis.

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; StoreSteadyBot/1.0; +https://www.storesteady.com/bot)

Robots.txt

We honor robots.txt. If your robots.txt disallows our user-agent or path, we will not crawl that path.

Rate Limits

We crawl no more than one page per second per host and request only public, unauthenticated pages.

Bot Protection

If your storefront blocks our crawler via Cloudflare, Datadome, or similar, our reports note this as a limitation. We do not attempt to bypass bot protections.

Block or Allowlist

To block our crawler, add User-agent: StoreSteadyBot and Disallow: / to your robots.txt. To request takedown of an existing scan report, see the takedown page.
